Lydbury North Village Hall
The new hall, built on the site of the old one, celebrated its first year in March 2015. It provides excellent facilities and is welcoming and accessible to all. In the centre of the village, it’s close to the Church, St Michael and All Angels, the village Pub, Powis Arms, the Community Shop and Walcot Hall.
Lydbury North Community Shop
Lydbury North Community Shop was opened in 2001 providing a much-needed local shopping and Post Office facility. The shop, which is open seven days a week, is run entirely by volunteers.
Lydbury North Primary School
St Michael’s Federation is a federation of Lydbury North CofE Primary School and Onny CofE Primary School. We are two small schools joined together by our vision of ‘Growing to be the best that we can be for God, Ourselves and Each Other’.
St Michael & All Angels Church
The site of the church is of Anglo Saxon origin as the existence of the parish of Lydbury North is attested in historic records. The Church is dedicated to St. Michael and All Angels of whom there is a representation to be seen in the stained glass window behind the organ. The church of St. Michael and All Angels provides an inclusive welcome to all in the form of service for worshippers and those whose interest is in the historic building.
